The Artist

Marco Cochrane

Marco Cochrane was born to American artists in Venice, Italy, in 1962 and raised in Northern California. Brought up amid the political and cultural movements of the 1960s and 70s, Marco learned respect for oneness, balance, and the imperative to make the world a better place.

Today, Marco's monumental works can be found in private collections and public spaces across the United States. Recent works include R-Evolution, at Embarcadero Plaza in San Francisco, CA and Bliss Dance, at The Park MGM in Las Vegas, NV.

Self-taught for more than 20 years, Marco sculpted in clay and cast in bronze, primarily human figures who chose their own poses and expressions. After attending the Burning Man festival in 2007, Marco was inspired to take his art and his message in a new direction. He realized he could enlarge his sculptures to monumental proportions while maintaining their integrity and, in the process, magnify the impact of his art.
